Pickup Project for the Army. New Year Report #37

Statistics on the results of the fund for the year:


In total, http://helpuatrucks.uk has helped the military and civilians in Ukraine with £765,665 as of the end of 2023;


  • Out of the funds, £87,050 has been spent, which is what we, together with our community, collected.

  • We have delivered 4.5+ tons of civilian humanitarian aid (454 boxes) to hospitals, children's homes, and internally displaced persons (Clothing and shoes for adults and children, Blankets, Towels, Toys, Baby carriage, laptop, sleeping bags, animal feed, wheelchair and stroller, 42+ pair of crutches);

  • Energy independence devices: 7 Generators, 6 Charging stations, 6 Inverters, 5 Batteries.

  • Lots of medical supplies: 60 chemical heaters, 30+ boxes of medical supplies, Rehabilitation equipment and tactical medicine, 15 boxes of hand and foot warmers, 2 pairs of stretchers;

  • 6 Rations, 3 Drones;

  • 6 pairs of boots, 25+ boxes of winter uniforms, Body armor;

  • An uncountable number of spare parts for military vehicles, Auto toolkits, 6 wheels;


There were even moving stories: An elderly woman from Britain donated her late husband's backpack with rain capes, which he used when serving in the British Army.

£3,570 - Logistics and repairment.

 

#172 Mitsubishi Shogun - £1900

An off-road vehicle for sappers, for which we raised funds back in September but underwent extensive repairs in October-November. The vehicle is now successfully demining the Kharkiv region as part of the 711th Guard Regiment, under the command of Сергей Бурковский. We conducted a major engine overhaul, replaced the injectors, replaced the fuel tank, and performed repairs on the suspension. All of this amounted to a cost of 85,694 UAH or £1850.








 

Humanitarian aid


Thanks to Natalya Lebedenko, the humanitarian mission with this vehicle carried:


  • 6 rehabilitation walkers

  • Wheelchair

  • 3 wheeled walkers

  • 8 boxes of children's and women's clothing and footwear

  • 8 boxes of medical supplies including cardiac monitors, syringes, dressing materials, catheters, medication, adult and baby diapers.


We also want to report on the recent activities regarding the purchase of evacuation stretchers, ceramic body armor plates, and two winter tactical jackets for the combat medics of the 26th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade in the Kherson direction.


  • The cost of 2 jackets was £380.

  • Ceramic body armor plates of the 6th grade set cost 10,400 UAH or £230.

  • Evacuation stretchers cost 9,500 UAH or £210.
